NOL-M9, Delve – A Keepstar belonging to the Imperium was reinforced today with a fleet of Titans and Supercarriers fielded from the PAPI Coalition. PAPI has been using a tactic of capturing and holding the infrastructure hub in the system in order to achieve a high strategic level, thus allowing them to deploy a cynosural jammer in the system. As of today, the magic number of 35 days was achieved and this jammer was deployed by Northern Coalition.
The Imperium fielded a large number of subcapital vessels in order to defend against an attack against either their “Helm’s Deep” (the pocket of E3OI) or their staging system of 1DQ1-A, however, no attempt was made to prevent the attackers from reinforcing the Keepstar. As with previous Keepstars, the cynosural jammer will be active and preventing ships from lighting cynsoural fields in the system. This means that PAPI controls when their ships are able to bridge or jump into the system and that the Imperium must be permanently watching for the structure to cycle if they hope to contest.
During the reinforcement of the Keepstar, the Initiative was able to anchor an additional Fortizar in 0SHT, their staging system in Curse for their forward deployment to the region of Catch, as well as reinforce hostile structures and infrastructure hubs in the area.
Among the narratives presented, one constant is that the PAPI coalition will pay, and pay dearly, for each Keepstar they destroy. This Keepstar, unlike the two that were destroyed closeby, is actually in Delve, something that members of the Imperium as well as their leader, the Mittani, has been asking for since the campaign against them began.
As with all highly volatile situations, the New Eden Post will be providing commentary on a fight (if one breaks out) and keeping you posted on all the happenings in World War Bee 2.
